Two new deals for THE HORNED GOD by Magdalena Hai!

We are excited to share two new deals for the THE HORNED GOD by Magdalena Hai! Rights were sold to Päike ja Pilv in Estonia in a deal closed by Sten-Erik Tammemäe at Elina Ahlback Literary Agency and to Epix Bokförlag in Sweden in a deal closed by Anna Kappauf at Elina Ahlback Literary Agency. Päike ja Pilv publishes books for children and young adults. Their international authors include Edward van de Vendel, Elin Nilsson, Kim Fupz Aakeson, Przemysław Wechterowicz, Peter Svetina, Ditte Wiese, Silvija Šesto, and Tomi Kontio.

Epix is an independent Swedish publisher for comic books and graphic novels for adults and for children’s books. They have already published Magdalena Hai’s middle grade title GRUMBLEBELLY CAT.

Rights for this Finlandia Prize-winning YA novel have now been sold in 6 languages! If you are looking for your new big YA book ahead of Bologna book fair, now is the perfect time to acquire the rights!

Magdalena Hai

Magdalena Hai is an award-winning author, lover of cross-genre fiction and all things strange. Her fiction often combines elements of sci-fi, fantasy and horror.

Her Little Shop of Nightmares series has been sold to 30 territories around the world. Among Hai's many accolades are winning the Finlandia Prize for children's and YA literature and the Finnish Literary Export Prize, and being nominated  the Nordic Council Children & Young People's Literature Prize.

Besides being an author, Hai teaches writing and is an active member and editor in the publishing co-operative Osuuskumma.
