The response from these publishers has been phenomenal:

Lindstedt’s new novel is convincing and impressive, exciting and provoking. It is fascinating how playfully easy Laura manages to narrate a female experience that is equally thought-provoking and entertaining. My Friend Natalia is a sharp and stimulating novel, written with the finger on the pulse of time by a writer with great authority.
– Signe Russwurm, Oktober, Norway

Laura has a uniquely fresh voice that has powerful things to say. It keeps on echoing long after you’ve finished the book.
– René Tendermann, Rahva Raamat, Estonia

Laura Lindstedt has a special place in my heart – and in Norstedts’ heart – and we want to follow the authorship.
– Lisa Lindberg, Norstedts, Sweden

My Friend Natalia is an exceptional, extraordinary book. It is a bold, and brave novel about a young woman’s sexuality, the power of narration, and identity.  It is literary, playful, brilliant, feministic and surprisingly funny! Definitely something worth taking a look at!
