Elina Ahlback Literary Agency now in New York!

Bklynofficenewsletter2May92014We are proud to announce the opening of Elina Ahlback Literary Agency Inc.’s New York office. From May 2nd on, agent Laura Palotie has been based out of Makeshift Brooklyn in Williamsburg. Elina Ahlback Literary Agency represents Finnish authors, illustrators and publishers in the U.S market.

Alongside Elina Ahlbäck, agent Laura Palotie sells rights to award-winning and bestselling Finnish fiction, YA books, children’s books and nonfiction to U.S publishers. The Agency also represents several U.S publishers exclusively in the Scandinavian markets.

“Our Agency’s mission is to tenfold the export of Finnish literature: Establishing a Nordic literary agency in the United States gives us a unique chance to sell and promote Finnish authors and their works directly to U.S publishers. We can now work more closely with our publishing partners and local clients,” says Literary Agent Elina Ahlbäck.
