Rights to the Tapper Twins series sold in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark

We are thrilled to announce that rights to Little, Brown’s biggest 2014 Bologna Book Fair hit, author Geoff Rodkey’s four-part Tapper Twins series, have been sold in Denmark to Alvilda, in Finland to WSOY in pre-empt, in Norway to Gyldendal in pre-empt and in Sweden to B. Wahlströms in pre-empt.

Little, Brown have sold rights in 12 languages and counting. The first entry in the series, The Tapper Twins Go to War (With Each Other), will be published in the U.S in Spring 2015.

The Tapper Twins Go to War (With Each Other) is a comedy about a pair of 12-year-old fraternal twins, Claudia and Reese, who couldn’t be more different…except in their determination to come out on top when a series of practical jokes escalates into a sibling-on-sibling battle that’s fought everywhere from the cafeteria of their private school to the fictional universe of an online video game.

Taking a warmly satirical look at life in Manhattan in 2014, the story is told as an oral history from the perspectives of the twins and their friends, as well as text messages from their parents. The Tapper Twins books will also feature scrapbook-inspired illustrations.

Author and screenwriter Geoff Rodkey‘s writing credits include 2003’s Daddy Day Care, an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head and segments of Comedy Central’s Politically Incorrect, for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award.
