Among our most acclaimed fiction titles are Laura Lindstedt’s Oneiron (Teos 2015), in which seven women meet in an undefined space after death, Miina Supinen’s adult fairy tale Jingle Land (WSOY 2015), and Jussi Valtonen’s 2014 Finlandia Prize Winner, They Know Not What They Do (Tammi 2014), last year’s highest-selling Finnish novel with rights sold in seven territories.
On the children’s and YA side our highlights include Riikka Jäntti’s picture book The Mercurial Mouse (Tammi 2015), sold in Denmark, Germany, the UK and Commonwealth, Tuutikki Tolonen’s Monster Nanny (Tammi 2015), which has already sold in five languages prior to its Finnish publication in October, and Maria Turtschaninoff’s Finlandia Junior Prize winner Maresi (Tammi 2014), with rights sold in 10 territories.
