We are thrilled to report more wonderful post-Bologna deals: Actes Sud Jeunesse acquired in pre-empt the World French rights to the highly acclaimed YA novel IN THE DARK I CAN BE YOURS (Matalapaine/Korkeapaine, Tammi) by award-winning and internationally bestselling author Salla Simukka. This beautiful novel was published in Finland in 2021 to excellent reviews. This is the first foreign sale for In the Dark I Can Be Yours – with more news to follow! The deal was closed by Mimi Matinpalo at Elina Ahlback Literary Agency.
