Fiction And Non-Fiction Rights Guide For Fall 2018 Is Here!

The book fair season is right around the corner: we’re very glad to introduce our new rights guides!

We’re expanding our list of nonfiction: Karita Sainio’s The Little Book of Sustainability is a beautifully illustrated guide to eco-friendly modern living. Then there’s The Little Book of Bad Moods: the hilarious adults’ activity book to those who have had enough of the positivity trend. To those looking for the meaning of life, we have good news: philosopher Frank Martela is tackling the issue in a reader-friendly manner in his Meaning of Your Life Explained.

On the fiction side, we’re glad to pitch Mikko-Pekka Heikkinen’s thrilling and amusing novel, The City Wall, about thriving cities, the emptying countryside and the clash of these two. Marko Hautala’sThe Red Marsh is a horror story that makes you want to keep your lights on in the night. Max Seeck finishes his trilogy with action-packed The Call of Hades. Lovers of the literary will delight in new books from our prize-decorated authors.

We also welcome a new agent to our team: Julia Kellums. She will be responsible for the sales into e.g. the Nordics and the Netherlands. She began work on September 3rd and can be reached at julia.kellums@ahlbackagency.com.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you and meeting you at the book fairs – we’ll be in Gothenburg (table K3 in Rights Center) and Frankfurt (tables 18L and 17L in LitAg), and at the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico.
