The Korean rights to Drops of Life (Kyyhkyn kysymys), written by the Finlandia Junior-winning author Esko-Pekka Tiitinen and illustrated by Nikolai Tiitinen, have been sold to Junglegum Books. The English, Spanish and Catalan rights to Drops of Life were sold to the eco-conscious Spanish publisher Cuento de Luz in March.
Other recent children’s book deals include Hannele Huovi’s Ware Bears (Urpo ja Turpo) to Azbooka in Russia, Tove Appelgren’s Vesta-Linnea and Monster Mom (Vesta-Linnea och monstermamman) to A&A books in India and Ilja Karsikas’ Anselmi’s numbers (Anselmin numerot) and Anselmi’s Animals (Anselmin eläimet) to Lebanon.
