We are very happy to announce that German rights to My Little Creature (Schildts & Söderströms 2014), authored by Ulf Stark and illustrated by Linda Bondestam, have been acquired by Fischer Verlag for publication in Spring 2016.

Fischer Verlag is one of Germany’s largest publishers, and home to authors such as Thomas Mann. Rights to My Little Creature were previously acquired by Enchanted Lion Books in the World English territories, Berghs in Sweden and Teos in Finland.

Linda Bondestam is one of Finland’s most beloved and acclaimed illustrators. Her accolades include an award from the Society of Swedish Literature in Finland, and nominations for the Finlandia Junior Prize and the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. Ulf Stark is a legendary Swedish author and screenwriter whose numerous honours include the Nordic Children’s Book Prize. His collaborations with Linda Bondestam include The Dictator (Schildts & Söderströms 2010), the rights to which have been sold in nine languages, and Everything (Schildts & Söderströms 2012).
