Oona’s second year at Mayor Isle High School begins under conflicting circumstances. She and Kaisla have grown closer, and in their private moments the tension heats up quickly, but taking the relationship to the next level makes Oona nervous. On top of that, their friend Emmi moves away, and the gap she leaves is clearly felt within the friend group.

At the same time, mysterious things begin to happen. A threatening message is scrawled on a school wall, and students are pressured into completing questionable challenges.
