Storytel will reward the year’s best audiobooks and their narrators in Finland at the Storytel Awards gala, held for the seventh time in March 2026. The aim of the Storytel Awards and the Grand Audiobook Prize is to promote the development of the audiobook market, share the joy of listening, and highlight the importance of skilled creators in producing memorable listening experiences.
This year, the awards will be presented in five categories.
We are proud to let you know that several titles we represent are nominated for the prize!
Fiction: Juha Itkonen: Tomorrow I’ll Tell You Everything
Crime & Thrillers: Max Seeck: Betrayed, Tatiana Elf: Impostor, Elina Backman: Who Wanders in the Dark, Aamos Honka: Crimson Web, Arttu Tuominen: Alec, Joona Keskitalo: The Lake that Cracked
Children’s & Young Adult Literature: Hannele Lampela: Itty Bitty Princess and the Fart Fairy’s Surprise Clean-Up, Arttu Unkari: Dad Man’s Idiotic Tales 2
The Grand Audiobook Prize is awarded to both the author of the winning work in each category and the audiobook’s narrator. The monetary prize is 1,500 euros. If the winning book is a translated work, the prize is given to the translator instead of the original author.
The awards will be presented and the winners announced at the Storytel Awards gala on 26 March 2026.
Congratulations to all the nominated authors!
