THE HISTORY OF FINLAND IN A NUTSHELL Estonian rights sold in auction!

We are happy to announce that the Estonian rights for THE HISTORY OF FINLAND IN A NUTSHELL by Risto E. J. Penttilä have been sold in an auction to Rahva Raamat! The deal was closed by Satu Sallantaus at Ahlbäck Agency.

In just 160 pages, The History of Finland in a Nutshell answers to the question How did Finland become the country it is today? with clarity, wit, and authority. Entertaining, accessible, and serious where it matters, it offers readers the essential story of Finland in a memorable framework: with 600 years as a part of Sweden, 100 years under Russian rule and now over 100 years of independence. The book takes readers from Scandinavian kingdoms and imperial politics to the Winter War, the Cold War, European integration, and Finland’s accession to NATO.
