From Thinkers50 website, on Frank Martela:
With a focus on the meaning of life, Frank Martela delves into what drives human motivation and fulfilment within organisational settings. His research provides managers and leaders with profound insights into how meaning, happiness, and purpose influence both individual performance and organisational success: by understanding the fundamentals of human needs and wellbeing, and moving beyond traditional management models, leaders can create environments that foster not only productivity but also a deep sense of purpose and satisfaction.
Frank Martela was also recently interviewed by the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. In the interview he stated that happiness isn’t constant; true well-being comes from accepting life’s ups and downs, cultivating meaningful relationships, pursuing personal values, and enjoying the journey rather than obsessing over perfection. His book Das Happiness-Paradox: Wie man Sinn und Zufriedenheit im Leben findet, ohne nach dem Glück zu suchen was published in Germany by Knesebeck this summer.
