PRAISE FOR THE SUNSET GROVE SERIES:
Death in Sunset Grove is Finnish Miss Marple
– Independent, United Kingdom

Lindgren perfectly captures the universal confusions (Siiri and Irma attend the funeral of the wrong person) and uncertainties of old age (how many of their friends will still be alive in a week to attend a reunion luncheon?) in the service of a captivating plot. Readers will eagerly await the sequel.
– Publishers Weekly, United States

PRAISE FOR THE CORE OF THE SUN:
“An intoxicating book, sizzling to look at and as spicy as a hot pepper.”
Weltexpress (Germany)

“Sinisalo’s latest novel, The Core of the Sun, brings up for discussion a sharp-eyed vision of a country where well-being has been cemented with totalitariasm. (–) The novel launches Sinisalo firmly to the core of the Finnish Weird. (–) For me, the novel was at its best when describing alternative Finland and Tampere in the throes of health fascism. Constructed with great detail, Sinisalo’s alternative society lingers on the reader’s mind.”
– Aamulehti newspaper, Finland
