Polish rights pre-empted for LITTLE SHOP OF NIGHTMARES series!

We are really excited to let you know that Znak Emotikon in Poland pre-empted the rights for all 3 titles in the LITTLE SHOP OF NIGHTMARES series!

Natalia Sikora from the Polish publisher Znak Emotikon was really happy and said:

As we all know children like to be scared a bit. Especially when these scary things are funny at the same time. And this is the case of Little Shop of Nightmares. Funny illustrations, hilarious characters, lot of imagination. From now on NO monsters will be found under the bed. Unless the really entertaining ones 😉

The Little Shop of Nightmares is a new early readers’ series about a strange little shop and its employees… who are even stranger. You might need some untickling powder to stop laughing while reading this series!

LITTLE SHOP OF NIGHTMARES 1: THE TERRIBLE TICKLING POWDER
by Magdalena Hai, illustrated by Teemu Juhani

When Nina, 9 years, enters The Little Shop of Nightmares in hopes of getting a job, she is greeted by an odd sight: shopkeeper Mr. Kook is rolling on the floor, unable to stop laughing. With a little help from a ghost called Paddy, they start looking for the untickling powder to help him, but things are certainly not made easier by Mr. Kook’s world-domination-planning pet octopus Squishy McGoo, who is a bit too quick about getting into trouble with rollerblades on its tentacles.

LITTLE SHOP OF NIGHTMARES 2: THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING TEETH
by Magdalena Hai, illustrated by Teemu Juhani

Nina goes to buy ice cream after her first work day at The Little Shop of Nightmares. But at the ice cream shop she discovers a vampire – without teeth! Nina decides to help vampire Lucas, and find him new teeth from Mr. Krook’s shop. But while they look for the teeth it turns out that other things have gone missing too…

LITTLE SHOP OF NIGHTMARES 3: STICKY THE HORRIBLE SNOWMAN
by Magdalena Hai, illustrated by Teemu Juhani

The Little Shop of Nightmares is getting buried in snow! Nina and Paddy are trying to find the cause of the snowstorm, but that’s easier said than done. A well-meaning but horribly clumsy snowman keeps getting in their way and stopping their every effort to stop the snowing inside.
