Rights of Tiina Nopola’s and Mervi Lindman’s SIRI series now sold to eight countries! – Elina Ahlback Literary Agency – One of the leading Nordic literary agencies

We are happy to announce that the Simplified Chinese rights to the delightful and popular Siri series, written by Tiina Nopola and illustrated by Mervi Lindman, have been acquired by Graphic Communication Press. The publisher plans to launch the series at the Beijing Book Fair 2012. The deal makes China the 8th Siri territory, in addition to Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Korea, Lithuania, Russia and Sweden.

Recently both the Lithuanian children’s book publisher Nieko Rimto and the Hungarian Kolibri bought the rights to two books in the Siri series.

The upcoming, 10th installment in the Siri series, Siri and the Yeti (Siiri ja lumimies) will be published in Finland in Fall 2012. Not only Tiina Nopola’s talent to write stories in which every girl can find herself but also Mervi Lindman’s humoristic and detailed illustrations are making this a charming and attention catching series.
