Lumina needs to get the power of the forest and water people and the secrets of spell poems in order to increase her knowledge. However, the threat of Louhi, the ruler of Pohjola, is hovering over Middler, and there are signs which lay the shadow to their lives.

When the forest people; human-like goblins take Lumina’s friend and loved one, warrior son Kaleva to Underer, a world beneath of Middler, Lumina's adventure begins. Lumina must find out why the Firefoxes have come down from the sky and burned half of Middler's land.

In her journey, she meets other fellow travellers’; Deer King who used to be the ruler of the North, Tonttu who is a mysterious elf and Sumua who is the daughter of the Forest King Tapio. All of them have their own strengths and they become good friends . With the help of the learned shamanic skills, Lumina is able to see the secrets of the three worlds, from the Middler through the dark shadows of Underer all the way to the Abover, the realm of the ancient northern gods.

The storyworld has been designed on the basis of the Finnish and Karelian mythology as well as the national epic: Kalevala.
