A delightfully sweet picture book about a little Shoresnort named Duffy Dewsnip

✓ A charming children’s title with beautiful, colourful illustrations
✓ Perfect for sharing a cozy fairytale reading time together

✓ A gentle story about courage, curiosity, and finding one’s place in a new environment
✓ Ideal for young readers who love forest adventures and friendly little creatures
✓ Warm themes of family, belonging, and discovering unexpected friendships
✓ Encourages empathy and imagination through magical worldbuilding

Duffy Dewsnip and his Shoresnort family are forced to flee their home grounds. They find a new place to live in the Marshwood Forest, in the lands of the Bogsnorts. While the parents build a new home, Duffy has time to go on adventures. Getting to know the Bogsnorts doesn’t go quite as nicely as lively and curious Duffy would hope. However, the lush and mysterious forest hides pleasant surprises within.

Cara Knuutinen’s charming illustrations and sympathetic story take the little reader along Duffy’s adventure paths.

“The story is not only about loneliness and the fear of not fitting in, but also about courage and friendship. It speaks of the strength that a friend can bring, and how unwise it is to label others based on prejudice. As adults, we easily forget this skill — we may box ourselves in with our own habits and routines. Every child, and why not every adult as well, should have the right and opportunity to enter the wonderful world of children’s books. Through my books, I want children to be able to recognise and process their emotions, and to see the world with empathy and curiosity.”
