Noora Al-Ani has started on August 4th, and she is currently selling rights to the Nordics, Italy, and to the Arab world. She also sells rights to the French and Spanish & Portuguese speaking territories and Asian territories in collaboration with our trusted co-agents.

Noora Al-Ani (MBA) is an accomplished sales leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the book industry. She led the digital publishing and sales operations at Otava Publishing Company overseeing e-book and audiobook catalogue and production in a cross-functional role bringing together all aspects of digital publishing. She also succesfully managed the key accounts such as Bookbeat and Storytel. Prior to Otava she worked in the biggest bookstore chain in Finland, Suomalainen Kirjakauppa. Outside of work, she loves memes, candy, responsible fashion, stories, human rights, perfectly fitting jeans and lists.

Sales Lead & Agent Martti Berner continues leading our sales team and selling rights to Germany, the Netherlands, and to Central and Eastern European territories in collaboration with our co-agency Corto Literary. He handles the UK and US rights sales in collaboration with Elina Ahlbäck and is responsible for selling Scandinavian Subrights for Macmillan US Children’s.
Literary Agent & Contracts Coordinator Satu Sallantaus will focus on selling Finnish authors’ and illustrators’ rights to Poland, Estonia and other Baltic countries, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Greece. She also oversees Ahlback Agency’s contracts, invoicing and royalties.
CEO & Agent Elina Ahlbäck is focusing on Agency’s Film & TV rights and growth strategies. She continues working with UK & US and French publishers alongside our wonderful literary agents.
