Karo Hämäläinen’s The Buyout sold to Spain

The Spanish and Catalan rights to Karo Hämäläinen’s financial thriller The Buyout (Erottaja) have been acquired by Ediciones B. Sold at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the book will be published in Spanish in Autumn 2012. The publisher plans to promote the book in a substantial marketing campaign.

“I am very excited that the rights were sold only three days after the English sample translation was finished”, author Karo Hämäläinen rejoices.

Published by WSOY in August 2011, the Buyout became both an instant bestseller and a critical success in Finland.
