Nikolai Tiitinen wins 3rd place at the 9th Mikkeli Illustration Triennial

Nikolai Tiitinen has been awarded the shared 3rd place at the 9th Mikkeli Illustration Triennial. Nikolai participated with his illustrations in the children’s book Kyyhkyn kysymys (Drops of Life, Tammi 2010), written by Esko-Pekka Tiitinen.

41 illustrators participated in the triennial with all together 111 works. The winners were chosen by a jury consisting of five professionals in the field.

Kyyhkyn kysymys will be published by Cuento de Luz in Spanish and Catalan in the fall 2011 and in English in the spring 2012.
