Johanna Sinisalo’s Birdbrain sold to Norway
The rights to translate Johanna Sinisalo’s latest novel Birdbrain (Linnunaivot, Teos 2008) into Norwegian have been sold to Vega Forlag. The Oslo-based publisher plans to bring out their edition in Autumn 2012. All in all Johanna Sinisalo’s books have now been sold to 15 languages.
Birdbrain was recently published in France by Actes Sud (Oiseu de malheur March 2011) and in the UK by Peter Owen Publishers (Birdbrain, October 2010) and got smashing reviews:
