About the book: 
When a Helsinki psychotherapist is murdered, Anton Rajamaa receives a file containing medical information about his estranged daughter, Iida, who has suffered from auditory hallucinations. When Anton starts investigating the case, he finds out a “whispering girl” has been giving Iida orders, which become increasingly gruesome in nature.

About the author:
Marko Hautala’s thrillers balance on the fine line between psychological horror and the supernatural, and often incorporate realistic elements such as bits of local history and the most terrifying of legends. He has received the Kalevi Jäntti Prize in 2010 and the Tiiliskivi Prize in 2008. His works have been translated into English, German, Italian and Czech.
