Introducing Freya, an ancient Norse god in a modern world!

FreyanewsletterMarch2015On the eve of this year’s Bologna Book Fair we are happy to announce our representation of a thrilling new YA series: Freya, written by Matthew Laurence and produced by Rovio Books. Following an ancient god in a modern world, the series opens with Freya and the Myth Machine (Rovio Books 2015) and continues with Freya and the Idol Industry next year.

In her prime, Freya was the Norse goddess of love, sexuality, magic, beauty, war, and death; and that’s just to start. She commanded armies, conquered kingdoms, and seared her name across the known world. But time is cruel. Seasons turned, and she was left behind. All that’s left of her legacy, empire, and faith… is Freya herself. And she is about to make one hell of a comeback.

See more information on the official Freya series site.

About the author:

Matthew Laurence (b. 1982) has been a writer and designer for more than eight years. He is consistently delighted that he actually gets paid to make games. His career has taken him from Orlando and San Francisco to Helsinki, Finland, where he works at Rovio Entertainment.

We are also thrilled to represent the Storm Sisters YA pirate series by Mintie Das, also produced by Rovio Books. Visit the Storm Sisters official site for more information, including a brand-new book trailer!
