We are happy to announce that Laini Taylor’s book Daughter of Smoke and Bone will be published throughout Scandinavia excl. Iceland this year.
The Finnish rights were sold to Tammi Publishers for publication in Autumn 2012. The Norwegian, Swedish and Danish rights were bought by Bazar Forlag, also due to be published in 2012. In Norway Daughter of Smoke and Bone has been announced by the press as one of the most significant upcoming books this year. Laini Taylor’s book has also been announced as one of Amazon’s Best Books of 2011.
Rights sold to date: France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Korea, Taiwan, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Israel, Italy, Brazil, Slovak, Poland, Indonesia, Turkey, Hungary
Furthermore, Universal Pictures has acquired worldwide film rights to Laini Taylor’s Daughter of Smoke and Bone! Universal’s Co-Presidents of Production Peter Cramer and Jeff Kirschenbaum made the announcement earlier in January.
