Recent Scandinavian rights deals

Time-Traveling Fashionista The Twilight Saga The Official Illustrated GuideIn some of the recent Scandinavian deals negotiated by the Elina Ahlback Literary Agency, the following youth novel rights were sold:

  • Bianca Turetsky’s Time-Traveling Fashionista (Little Brown and Company)to Finland.
  • Stephenie Meyer’s The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide (Little Brown and Company) to Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
  • Laini Taylor’s Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Little Brown and Company) to Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
  • Sarah Ockler’s Twenty Boy Summer (Little Brown and Company) to Denmark.
  • Jonathan Maberry’s Rot & Ruin and Dust & Decay (Simon and Schuster) to Denmark
  • Thomas E. Sniegoski’s Fallen 1-2 and Fallen 3-4 (Simon and Schuster) to Denmark
  • Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies, Pretties, Specials (Simon and Schuster) to Norway
  • Christopher Pike’s Thirst No.1: The Last Vampire series (Simon and Schuster), a three book deal, to Sweden.
  • Tony DiTerlizzi’s In Search of Wondla series (Simon and Schuster), a three book deal, to Sweden.

The Scandinavian rights have been recently negotiated to the following non-fiction titles:

  • Kirsten Khaschei’s Schon wieder Montag (Campus Verlag) to Finland.
  • Daniel Estulin’s The Bilderberg Group (Kirsten Neuhaus Literary Agency) to Sweden.
